Bill Concannon started working in the world of neon in 1971 by interviewing for a college term paper Raymond Larsen (YESCO) and Paul Miller (Ad-Art) about the design of the neon pylon sign and facade of The Stardust Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. In 1973, he apprenticed to John Mclaughlin of Quality Neon in Long Beach, CA, and started studying with Larry Albright in Venice CA. Six years later, Larry and I worked with the model makers at Zoetrope studio to create the miniature 2 MM neon Las Vegas casino signs for the movie One From The Heart, including The Stardust. He established my studio, Aargon Neon in 1975, and makes neon signs, neon art, and teaches neon classes to this day. IG @dogma67
